Suriya, Karthi come forward with monetary help for Uttarakhand victims

It is time for Tollywood stars Suriya and Karthi to stand for some social cause. The sibling stars of Tollywood have come forward to support Uttarakhand disaster relief fund with a donation ofRs. 10 lakh.

Suriya’s agent told, "The donation of Rs.10 lakh was made on behalf of the Agaram Foundation, managed and run by Suriya's family.” Since June 15 the disaster has been ongoing and thousands of tourists and pilgrims have fallen prey to the natural calamities. Many of the sufferers are still stranded in some remote locations.

The Agaram Foundation is known for their work towards the underprivileged students by offering them quality education.Suriya and Karthi are the first Tamil actors who have donated for the Uttarakhand disaster. While Suriya is awaiting his upcoming release Singam 2, Karthi is managing time between two films, Biriyani and All in All Azhagu Raja.
