    Suriya, Karthi donate Rs. 1 crore to South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce

    Tamil sibling stars Suriya and Karthi have reportedly donated Rs. 1 crore to the South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce (SIFCC) to name a theatre after their parents, Sivakumar and Lakshmi Sivakumar. SIFCC has been constructing the theatre, along with two others in celebration of 100 years of Indian cinema.

    Following the donation, SIFCC has announced that one of the preview theatres will be named after Suriya and Karthi’s parents, Sivakumar and Lakshmi Sivakumar. It has been learnt that the veteran actor Sivakumar and his wife Lakshmi have been spellbound with their sons’ unique gesture.

    Presently Suriya is shooting forSingam 2and will soon start working on films by Gautham Vasudev Menon and N. Lingusamy, while Karthi is doingBiriyaniandAll In All Azhaguraja.
