Suriya Opens Up About ‘24’

Suriya wrapped up his film ‘24’ with director Vikram Kumar early last month. The film was supposed to hit the screens on Pongal next year. But due to many big releases during that time, the makers decided to postpone the release of the film. The film will not hit the theatre screens in April 2016.

The Singam actor opened up about the movie and reviled that the flick is a double-action subject. He said, “I wanted to avoid double-action scripts as I have done many films in that style. But Vikram K Kumar is a fantastic writer and director. I didn't have the guts to let go off such a good script. Therefore, I thought of not doing a double-action subject after finishing 24”.

The Anjaan actor will be seen in dual roles in the flick. He has earlier done dual roles in six other films. Samantha and Nithya Menen play the female lead in this sci-fi thriller.
