Suriya revolutionises South India with Digital cinema

Superstar Suriya’s upcoming film Anjaan is ready to throng the screens on the eve of Independence Day. As per reports, no physical prints of the movie will be available as it will be launched 100% digitally.

"Digital revolution in South India. Anjaan will be the 1st high budget film with a huge star, which will release only through digital screens. No physical print is allowed for Anjaan screening anywhere in the world. Having shot the film with 6K resolution quality, we want only digital," tweets UTV's G Dhananjayan.

The film, which has Suriya, Samantha and Vidyut Jamwal in the lead roles, will hit nearly 1500 screens. This superhit is expected to get a wonderful opening. With the digital projection, it will be easy to control piracy as a special code has been placed to trace piracy.
