Suriya-starrer S3 Postponed By A Week?

Few days back, Desimartini reported that Suriya-starrer S3 is releasing on its scheduled date, that is December 16. However, according to the latest hearsay the makers of the action thriller have failed to save the film from the demonization effect. They are planning to postponement the release of the third iteration of Singam by a week.

Reportedly, the Tamil and Telugu versions of S3 will now hit the big screens on December 23. It will now clash with director Lakshman’s Bogan that is also releasing on the same date. The film is starring Jayam Ravi, Arvind Swami and Hansika in lead roles. Nothing has been said officially about S3 being postponed. However, a source has confirmed the news.

It said, "The film has been postponed to December 23 owing to three reasons. The aftermath of demonetisation is one factor. The makers also felt that they need some more time to promote the flick. Further, a few post-production works are also underway”.
