Suriya turns older, shines brighter!

Kollywood superstar Suriya has just turned a year older. The actor celebrated his 39^th birthday with his Anjaan team, yesterday. Anjaan is said to be an action packed thriller flick directed by N. Lingusamy and produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur and N. Subash Chandrabose. The much awaited movie starring Suriya and Samantha is all set to hit the screens, this Independence Day.

Suriya entered into the industry with a Mani Ratnam-Vasanth film titled Naerukku Naer. The versatile actor appeared in many blockbusters like Nandha, Kaakha Kaakha, Perazhagan, Ghajini, Vaaranam Aayiram, Ayan, Singam and Singam II and won a lot of appreciation for his exceptional acting skills.  The Singam actor received three Tamil Nadu State Film Awards and three Filmfare Awards South and penned his name in the list of top five A-list actors of Kollywood.

Suriya is one of the leading contemporary actors in Tamil cinema and has acted in more than 30 movies. The actor fell in love with his Kaakha Kaakha co-star Jyothika and got married in 2006. The duo also appeared together in a few other films like Perazhagan and Sillunu Oru Kaadhal. The couple were soon blessed with two kids. Suriya has been shining in the industry for 17 glorious years. We wish the superstar many more glowing years in his life!
