Suriya Was Destined To Star In ‘24’

Just three more days remain for the release of Suriya’s much awaited film ‘24’. There is a huge buzz around the film and it will be released in a record number of 267 screens in the U.S. The actor has intrigued the movie buffs with the trailer of the film and has effortlessly played the negative character of Athreya in it.

While the fans are praising the actor for his superb acting in the trailer, director Vikram Kumar reveals that the Anjaan actor was not the first choice for the flick. He said, "Every story has its own destiny. It will only get made when the time is right and no matter how hard you try, problems will crop up. In the case of '24', I had the story with me for nearly six years and I'm glad it was finally made with Suriya, who was destined to star in it".

The director added that when he sees the film now, he feels that he could not have made the film with any other actor. Vikram said that he feels happy that he got a chance to work with the Singam star. The team is now gearing up for the release of the film, it will hit the screens on May 6.
