Susi Ganesan Talks About Thiruttu Payale 2

Director Susi Ganesan is busy with his upcoming film Thiruttu Payale 2 which stars Amala, Bobby Simha and Prasanna. Recently, the film’s short teaser and promo was revealed which created quite a stir. Looking at Amala Paul ’s steamy looks and suggestive poses in the teaser, people starting making speculations that the movie will have adult content.

However, Susi said that the film will have everything that happens in the society. While Thiruttu Payale, which released in 2006, was about extra marital affairs, Thiruttu Payale 2   will be about Bad Vs Bad. The three leads will be playing roles with negative shades.

Talking about the film, Susi said, “It is not an adult content movie. There is a lot of explicit sexual content that is freely available online. Why would I touch the same aspect? The uniqueness of Thiruttu Payale 2 is the flow and narrative of the script, which will still give you the same flavour. And the real challenge for me was to shock the audiences without being overt. I hope I have pulled it off!”

When asked why he decided to show the main leads with grey shades, Ganesan said, “I feel every human being has an other side to him/her. I am only projecting the double standard of human minds. So, in the context of my subject, you will find the negative shades of everyone. That’s why the film is a ‘Bad Vs Bad’ concept.”
