    Tamil Actor, Director Balu Anand Passes Away At 62

    Tamil actor-director Balu Anand (62) breathed his last on June 3 at about 12:30 a.m. after he suffered a massive heart attack in his residence in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. According to family sources, Anand complained of chest pain in the morning at his house in Kalampalayam. Reportedly, the actor was living with his wife, son and daughter.

    Anand was immediately rushed to a nearby private hospital. However, the actor unfortunately died on the way to the hospital. He has contributed his immense acting flair to nearly 100 films.

    The actor is known for several movies including Anbe Sivam (2003), Unakkaga Ellam Unakkaga (1999), Pistha (1997) and Rajadhi Raja Raja Kulothunga Raja Marthanda Raja Gambeera Kathavaraya Krishna Kamarajan (1993). He has also directed a few Kollywood flicks, and Naane Raja Naane Mandhiri (1985) and Annanagar Mudhal Theru (1998) are two of them. Desimartini wishes that the actor may forever stay at ease and rest in peace in the heavens above.
