Tanya To Romance Vijay Sethupathi In Paneer Selvam’s Next

Earlier, rumors were doing rounds that Ritika Singh was offered a role in Paneer Selvam’s forthcoming film, Karuppan but because of her busy schedule, she pulled out. Then there were reports that Lakshmi Menon will be paired alongside Vijay Sethupathi in Karuppan. But, now the news has it that actress Tanya Ravichandran, who made her debut with Balle Vellaiya Theva alongside Sasikumar will play Vijay’s love interest in the film.

Talking about her character, she says, "I play a village girl in this film as well, but the role is completely different to the one I played in Bale Vellaya Theva." She revealed that Vijay is a great actor and one can learn a lot from him. “He is an experienced actor, so I get to learn more by sharing screen space with such an actor. He is friendly on the set and makes me feel comfortable," she says.

However, the shooting of Karuppan has already started. Presently the shooting of the film is in progress in the village of Dindigul. The film is produced by AM Rathnam and the makers are planning to wrap the shoot within 70 days.
