Television Channel Plays ‘Aalaporan Thamizhan' Twice During Mersal

As it is known, the songs of most of the movies aired on television are sometimes skipped in order to prevent the audience from getting bored. Such a thing didn’t happen when Vijay Thalapathy starrer-Mersal was aired on the television. A popular song from the movie titled as ‘Aalaporan Thamizhan' was played at full length in the movie.

Interestingly, the song was played again by the television channel. The song ‘Aalaporan Thamizhan’ is a known favourite among the Kollywood audience. Even cinematographer GK Vishnu took to his Twitter account to exhibit  his love for the song. His post read as, “Alaporan Thamizhan - The first song I shot for the film. First song of my career as a cinematographer. #Mersal #alaporanthamizhan”.

Mersal’s storyline revolved around a doctor, who is a doppelganger of a murderer and gets arrested in place of the real murderer. The movie starred Vijay in double role. The movie also starred Kajal Aggarwal , Samantha Akkineni and Nithya Menen.
