Thala Ajith defers his surgery for entire year

Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar was supposed to undergo a surgery at the end of 2013 following his leg injuries which took place while he was filming Arrambam. Earlier he decided to postpone the operation till he wraps up shooting for Veeram and now latest reports have revealed that he has no plan to go ahead with the surgery throughout this entire year.

One of the close sources from the actor’s end informed, "Ajith will commence work on his film with Gautham Menon soon, and wants to keep himself fit for the project. He has been hitting the gym and has kept himself occupied. Whenever the pain surfaces, he tries some self-healing method. He isn't too keen on a surgery, and is trying to keep himself agile by performing exercises under the guidance of a trainer." This Gautham Menon film was supposed to team up Ajith and Anushka Shetty but the latest buzz says the actress may not share the screen space with the superstar in the film. But the source refused to conform to the latest reports, "That's untrue. Gautham and his team are planning to come out with an official announcement soon."
