Thala Ajith’s 54th film titled Veeram because of the lucky ‘V’

Kollywood’s heartthrob, Ajith has finally rubbished all rumours about his next film withSiruthai Siva andhas announced the title to be Veeram.A source confirmed the reason behind this selection,"The alphabet 'v' has been lucky for Ajith. Films starting with the alphabet, be itVaaliorVillainorVaralaaru, have been successful at the box office. So, the team wanted to work on this streak. Moreover, Siva felt Veeram is a title that would do justice to the film's story."

The movie casts Tamannaah Bhatia in the female lead opposite Ajith while Vidharth, Santhanam, Pradeep Rawat, Suza Kumar and Manochitra are the supporting cast in the film. The source further comments, "Ajith will be performing some daredevil stunt sequences in a train and Siva will also be canning scenes between Ajith and his brothers. The film is almost complete and will release for Pongal next year." The upcoming Tamil action masala film is produced by Vijaya Productions and currently the shooting is going on the border of Andhra-Orissa.
