Thambi Ramaiah Sings A Folk Song For Asurakulam

Multitalented star who has worked as director, actor and lyricist, is now set to try his voice. The news is that Thambi Ramaiah is preparing to sing for Asurakulam. Interestingly, he will also be playing lead actor in the flick.

The single will be a folk song and is set by C. Sathya, where the latter shared about the recent development. "I worked with Ramaiah sir in Nedunchalai. Once, he casually sang a song during a jamming session, too. And he was absolutely good. In this album, there is a song that required a raw voice. I remembered Ramaiah sir's flawless rendition and made him record this one”, he said.  

Sathya went on and said this will be the first time where an actor will be singing to his lyrics. He added that Thambi performed really well in the song and it was great working with him. In return to the compliment, Thambi appreciated Sathya work and said that the song is ‘suits today’s times’.
