Thani Oruvan Gets Official Release Date

Recent reports have confirmed that Thani Oruvan will be releasing on August 28. The movie will star Jayam Ravi and Nayantara in leading roles. Thani Oruvan is directed by Raja Mohan who is known for his films Velayudham, Thillalangadi and Jayam.

Earlier it was said that the movie will be released on August 15 as an Independence day treat. The filmmakers decided that the release date of August 28 will provide a suitable time gap between Jayam Ravi’s previous film Sakalakalavallavan and the upcoming Thani Oruvan. Jayam had won the Edison Award for Best Actor for his film Peraanmai and Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Actor for M. Kumaran Son Of Mahalakshmi.

Thani Oruvan is an action film in which Aravind Swamy will be seen in a negative role for the first time in his career. The movie will be produced by AGS Entertainment. Along with Jayam, Nayantara and Aravind, the cast will include Nassar, Vamsi Krishna and Ganesh Venkatraman. The music is directed by 'Hip hop' Tamizha Aadhi.
