This Actor Will Step Into Vishnu Vishal’s Shoes For ‘Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu 2’

Filmmaker Suseenthiran wielded the megaphone for the first time with 2009 drama film ‘Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu’. The movie garnered positive reviews and was critically acclaimed. Not only did it become a commercial success, the Vishnu Vishal, Kishore and Saranya Mohan starrer also served as a big platform for many promising artists and technicians.

Buzz is that the sequel to Susindran’s debut flick will star actor Vikranth as the male lead. It is also being heard that the film might feature a new face in the role of the female lead. According to reports, the other cast and crew members of the upcoming movie are being finalized. The first part starred numerous newcomers in the lead roles including Vishnu Vishal, who debuted with the film.

The sequel is expected to be centered around the contact sport of Kabaddi, just like the first iteration. The script and dialogues will be penned by Suseenthiran. On a related note, the director’s upcoming period flick ‘Maveeran Kittu’ will hit theatres on December 2.
