‘Thoonga Vanam’ And ‘Vedalam’ Ruling Box office

Ajith and Kamal Haasan are enjoying the success of their latest films. Ajiths’s ‘Vedalam’ and Kamal Haasan’s ‘Thoonga Vanam’ released on November 10. Both the films are doing a great at the box office.

According to reports, ‘Thoonga Vanam’ earned close to Rs. 4 crore on its opening day. On the other hand Ajith’s ‘Vedalam’ grossed around Rs. 12- 14 crore on day 1. A record among Ajith movies. The Siva directorial is creating records in Kollywood. It has collected a little over Rs. 25 crores in its first two days. Ajith is ruling the box office currently in Tamil Nadu.

However, reports suggest that Kamal Haasan’s ‘Thoonga Vanam’ has surpassed ‘Vedalam’. The Rajesh M. Selva Rs. 1.4 crores at the end of day 2 in America, and is leading ‘Vedalam’ by Rs. 30 lakh. Both the films are expected to do more business in the coming weekend. Reports suggest that ‘Vedalam’ has got the tax exemption status in Tamil Nadu.
