Trisha-Amala Paul clash with each other to play female lead opposite Suriya?

Gautham Menon’s upcoming project with Suriya and Dhruva Natchathiram is all set to undergo production on June 17 but the female lead has not been finalised yet. The battle is on between two top contenders, Trisha and Amala Paul.

While it has been heard that Trisha is the frontrunner in the list, Amala Paul seems to be giving a tough chase for the role. While the final selection of the leading actress is still on hold, auditioning is also on for 12 other major characters in the film, including the villain.

With music by A. R. Rahman, the film will also star Parthepan, Sudhanshu Pandey and Simran in other pivotal roles. The production house will soon issue an official statement on their casting for the film.
