Udhayanidhi Stalin has wrapped up the shooting of Priyadarshan 's Nimir, which is schedule to release in January or February. The actor will now start preparing for his upcoming untitled film which will be directed by Seenu Ramasamy. Udhayanidhi had earlier produced Seenu’s directorial venture Neerparavai. The makers will start shooting for the yet-to-be titled film early next year.

Talking about the movie, Stalin said, "This is going to be very much a Seenu Ramasamy film, with lot of emotions. It will have the feel of Dharmadurai. The story talks about the importance of agriculture and I play a character who has completed his agri course."

However, the makers are yet to finalise the actress and the music director. "We will be locking the complete cast and crew in the next few days. However, we have roped in debutant Jalandhar as the cinematographer. He has assisted cameraman SR Kathiir, and has also shot a few ads and short films," said Udhay.
