Uma Riyaz’s Next Is With Her Husband

This might be the first time in Kollywood, or in any industry, when the real couple turns out reel couple, that too in-uniform. That’s exactly what is happening with crime thriller Chennai Vidudhi, where Uma Riyaz Khan and her husband Riyaz Khan will play the lead character of cops. The other interesting thing about this flick is, it is a single shot movie.

“Director Shebi is a friend of my husband’s and when he explained that it will be a single shot film, we couldn’t say no to it. The film is about a murder that happens at a lodge in Chennai. I play a circle inspector, who investigates the issue along with my sub-inspector played by Riyaz. We shot the entire film on a set erected in Kerala, within four days”, Uma revealed.

The other cast members include Thalaivasal Vijay, Nizhalgal Ravi, Appu Kutty, Livingston and Pandiarajan in some very important characters. Uma added that it was not the easiest of the tasks to work for a single shot flick, but they had an equipped team to make everything possible.
