Upen Patel Feels That Chennai Is Lucky For Him

We have earlier even noticed that Upen Patel has this special love for the city. The actor, for now, is frequently visiting Chennai for the shoots of his movies but he says there’s a very pleasant vibe about the city that makes him want to stay back. The actor, was here recently to shoot for Kannan’s Boomerang with Atharvaa.

Talking about the city, he said, “I can’t pick just one thing that I love about Chennai. I like the people and how humble and welcoming they are. They make time to help you and ensure you are comfortable. There is something very spiritual about the city. And then, there is the food. I can’t get enough of dishes like dosa and idli; they are tasty, yet healthy. I haven’t partied much, but I like the ambience at the pubs here; it’s vibrant”.

Upen came here for shooting and work-related meetings but the actor feels that Chennai is lucky for his. He did his first south film in Tamil, and it was with none other than Shankar and Vikram. He added, “One of my first fashion shows was held here, and I also shot for my first ad here. I find the place lucky; it always takes me to the top”.
