Uthama Villain: Kamal Haasan’s first look unveiled

The first look poster of Kamal Haasan’s upcoming Tamil project, Uthama Villain, is already a hit among movie-lovers and now the first look of the superstar in the film has also been unveiled. This second poster shows Kamal giving an on-stage performance in front of a huge audience.

The shooting for the film has started yesterday, March 3, in Bangalore and is expected to be wrapped up very soon. Director Ramesh Aravind tweeted on Monday, "Uttama Villain shoot started today, finished an interesting sc.as always Kamalji rocked.” Touted to be a comedy entertainer, Uthama Villain is being produced by N. Lingusamy as well as Haasan himself. The first look poster of the film, which showed a colourful mask, is said to be inspired from Theyyam which is a popular performing art in Kerala. Along with the posters, the first official teaser of the film has also been released and it has gone viral online with more than 3.4 lakh hits. The film is set to be released in late 2014.
