Uttama Villain’s release date postponed again

Kamal Haasan’smuch talked about film Uttama Villain which was scheduled to release on the actor’s birthday has been postponed. According to sources, Uttama Villain, directed by Ramesh Aravind is now slated to release in 2015. The makers have high hopes from the film and are expecting a bumper opening for it.

Uttama Villain, an upcoming Tamil comedy drama deals with Kerala’s oldest art form Theyyam. Apart from portraying the lead character, Kamal has co produced the film and has even done the scripting for it. The film which is now postponed to release in 2015 will have an instantaneous Telugu release as well.

The first look poster and logo of the film was released in March. Uttama Villainalso featuresJayaram, Andrea Jeremiah, Pooja Kumar, Parvathi, Parvathy Nair and Urvashi in important roles. The background score is done by M. Ghibran.The film is a joint venture Thirrupathi Brothers and Raaj Kamal Films.
