Vadivelu returns to silver screen with Yuvaraj Dhayalan’s next

Film actor, comedian and playback singer Vadivelu has been contributing to Tamil cinema since 1990 but the actor took two-year break after Marupadiyum Oru Kadhal’s release and didn’t sign any project since then. However, a wave of cheers will fill all Vadivelu’s fans as he is making a comeback with Yuvaraj’s directorial Jaggajala Pujabala Tenaliraman.

The filmmaker confirms the news saying, "Though he hasn't been in films for the past two years,Vadiveluis very lively on the sets. He rehearses scenes before we shoot them and presents me with his own take on the scene. He hasn't lost his energy during this break from films." He also elaborated his role in the film, "In fact, the other character that Vadivelu plays in the film is that of the king. But, we have refrained from naming him as the story is a fictional one and isn't a biopic or historical on Tenaliraman."

He also talks about female lead Meenakshi Dixit, who is starring opposite Vadivelu in his upcoming comedy venture "I've given her the films of Bhanumathi and Vyjayanthi Mala to observe their grace and poise. Since she is trained in classical dance, she was able to pick up the nuances very well." The movie produced by AGS Entertainment has not come out with its release date yet.
