Vaibhav Is All Booked

Many didn’t give him a chance when he was to portray the character of Marudhupandi in the Chennai 600028: Second Innings, but now Vaibhav Reddy is being lauded for his strong performance. This is not it, the offers are now flowing actor’s way in abundance and the next year is all but packed for Vaibhav. He talked about his immediate success and his upcoming projects in a recent interview.
 

“I have been getting great feedback for my character, and I am genuinely happy for the entire team. Initially, people on the sets thought that I wouldn’t be able to pull off the role. But, Venkat Prabhu had great faith in me and now our efforts have paid off,” said Vaibhav.

Talking about the flicks in his pipeline, Vaibhav opened up, “I play the lead role in the Tamil remake of the Malayalam film, Adi Kapyare Kootamani. This venture is to be produced by the makers Kappal. The director of the film is yet to be confirmed. Moreover, he will be filming for another project simultaneously, this one for writer VC Guhanathan, which would be his 250th script and the actor is proud to be part of it.
