Vanagamud’s Producer Reveals Deets About The Film

Arvind Swamy became everyone’s favourite with his roles in Mani Ratnam’s Roja and Bombay. His last flick, Bogan, released this year with positive reviews. The actor is now all geared up for his upcoming flick, Vanagamudi, in which he will don khaki. Arvind is teaming up with the director of his 1997 hit film Pudhayal, Selva.

The makers are currently occupied with the shooting, which was earlier stalled due to FEFSI strike. Talking about the film, producer Ganesh said, “I met Arvind Swami sir after a gap and I was amazed with his physical transformation. He looks lean and fit. Director Selvah sir is canning the initial portions of the story and high-octane sequences where Anbazhagan IPS (Swami) takes on the goons. Rithika Singh, who plays his pair, and Nandita, who essays a woman cop, are also part of this schedule, which will go on for 15 days. The stunts are being shot in a realistic manner”.

The film is almost done except a 15-day schedule which is left. The actor’s character in the film will be called as Anbazhagan. Ritika Singh will play the female lead along with Arvind. Nandita Shweta and Thambi Ramaiah have also been roped in for pivotal roles in the film.
