Vasanthabalan Prepping Up For His Next

Director Vasanthabalan is known for directing realistic scripts which revolve around human emotions. His past movie titled Kaaviya Thalaivan starring Siddharth, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Vedhicka was set in 20 century and focused on the lives of two theatre artistes and the competition that existed between them. The film was critically appraised and even won several awards.

And now after being away from silver screen for nearly three years, Vasanthabalan is back in action. A source close to the director has revealed that he is currently working on the script and will start shooting in few months. The pre-production work of the film is underway.

The source further stated that the makers will make an official announcement regarding the film soon. The makers are on a hunt to finalise the cast and crew of the movie. It is speculated that Vasanthabalan will rope in newbies for the film as he has posted a Facebook post asking fresh faces to audition for the film. Rumours are doing rounds that the flick is set in the backdrop of Chennai.
