Vasudev Bhaskar Says Palli Paruvathile Is An Ode To His Teacher

Vasudev Bhaskar is awaiting the release of his upcoming film titled ‘Palli Paruvathile’. It is set in the campus life which has a slice of Vasudev’s personal life. The director spoke about the film and also shared stories from his school going days.

Revealing that the movie is based on his headmaster, Vasudev shared, “I hail from Ambalappattu village in Tanjore district. I still cherish the experiences of my school days there. The film, which has been shot in 40 days, is based on my then headmaster, a few incidents which happened in his life. I found him to be a very inspiring person during my school days”.

KS Ravikumar will be playing the role of the headmaster. The director is also excited for the project because megastars such as Kamal Haasan and Bharathiraja have appreciated the film. The cast for ‘Palli Paruvathile’ includes Urvasi, Ganja Karuppu, Thambi Ramaiah and Ponvannan.
