‘Vedalam’ Crosses 100 Crore Mark In 8 Days!

Ajith’s latest offering ‘Vedalam’ is creating records at the box office. The film collected Rs. 15.5 crore on its opening day and crossed the 50 crore magical mark within the first week. Also, the action-drama grossed Rs. 9.89 crore after six days in Malaysia and got the best opening for a Tamil film there. Thala fans were expecting the film to enter the 100 crore club soon. Here is good news for them.

According to reports, the film has crossed the 100 crore mark that too in just eight days. The Siva directorial has grossed Rs. 100 crore worldwide in mere eight days and has become the one of the fastest Tamil movies to join the 100 crore club. The news was confirmed by the lead antagonist of the flick Rahul Dev. Only few films like Rajinikanth’s ‘Enthiran’, ‘Lingaa’ and Vikram's ‘I’ have crossed the 100 crore mark before. The film is doing great business despite the fact that Kamal Haasan’s ‘Thoonga Vanam’ was released on the same date. It has become the biggest film of Ajith’s career.
