‘Vedalam’ Crosses 50 Crore Mark

 Ajith’s recent release ‘Vedalam’ is doing a great business at the box office. The film is pulling crowds into the theatres and is getting praises from the audiences as well as from the critics. It also created history by grossing Rs. 15.5 crore on its opening day.

According to reports, the Siva directorial has crossed the magical mark of Rs. 50 crore. The film has collected Rs. 50 crore within its first week. Though it is raining heavily in Chennai, but still the flick has managed to collect such a high amount. However, the figures have not been made official till now.

Even today, on a Monday, day time shows are running houseful. Reports suggest that the screen count of the action-drama will increase as  Telugu film 'Akhil' and Bollywood film 'Prem Rathan Dan Payo' are not being preferred by the people. Let’s see if the film turns out to be Thala’s biggest hit ever.
