Is ‘Vedhalam’ A Powerful Title?

The ‘V’ sentiment for Ajith still continues, the 56^th movie of Thala has been named ‘Vedhalam’. The star actor has earlier done successful movies with the same initial letter ‘V’ like ‘Vaali’, ‘Villain’, ‘Varalaaru’ and ‘Veeram’. It is to be seen now that how powerful ‘Vedhalam’ will come out to be.

The meaning of the title ‘Vedhalam’ (ghost of the fictional tale 'Vetala Panchavimshati') is quite strange. It is often remembered as a mischievous spirit that loves to play tricks on others. So is Ajith's character based on these frightening characteristics of 'Vedhalam'?

The first look of the movie was also released and it took fans of Ajith by storm. The film stars Ajith Kumar, Shruti Haasan, Lakshmi Menon, Kabir Singh and many others in the lead roles. It is an action comedy film written and directed by Siva. It has been finalised that the movie will release on Diwali.
