Veera’s Next Titled On Goundamani’s Famous Line?

It might not have been an ideal start for assistant director-turned-actor, Veera, with Nadunisi Naaigal, but it’s still a long way. The budding star made Rajathanthiram afterwards and was in the limelight again. Now, the latest we hear is that the star has bagged a crucial role as a protagonist in Arasiyala Idhellam Sadharanam Appa.

Yes, this is the same famous punch line of comedian Goundamani. The project will be helmed by Avinash Hariharan, who has many popular short films to his name. Veera confirmed the venture and said “It is an out-and-out comedy film with the backdrop of political satire and I am trying out humour. I play a happy-go-lucky guy in the city”.

Talking about his preparation for this flick, Veera said, “Nothing specific. But I took several reading sessions of the script, and will faithfully follow the director’s instructions”. The actor also answered with a humour that he kept his AD inside, as it would have only created confusion.
