Vela Ramamoorthy To Venture Into Different Role For ENPT

Ever since making his debut with Madha Yaanai Koottam, writer-turned-actor Vela Ramamoorthy has never looked back. The star will be next seen in Gautham Menon’s Enai Noki Paayum Thotta, where he’ll play Dhanush’s dad. Ramamoorthy is also immensely excited to get out of his typed role of a villager.

“So far, I have only played village roles and ENPT will see me in a modern avatar. When I heard that I would be essaying the role of Dhanush’s father, I instantly agreed. I will be sporting casual tees and jeans in the film, and I even learnt horse riding,” said Ramamoorthy.

He also talked about his other projects, “I have completed the first half of the film and it might go on floors in May. The greatest challenge in writing a script for Bala is that I wouldn’t want him to edit or cut anything that I write. Before Kutra Parambarai, he will do another film and I have an important character to play in that movie.” One thing is for sure, Ramamoorthy is having real fun as an actor and we would soon witness that in his movies as well.
