Venkat Prabhu: I will make all possible efforts to get A. R. Rahman on board

Biriyani director Venkat Prabhu has an unfulfilled wish and that is to work withOscar winner singing sensation A. R. Rahman. The filmmaker has approached him many times but failed to convince him as he was bound by his previous commitments. The director opened up that forBiriyani also; he wantedt to the croon foraspecial number Thirumbi Va but had to come with his head down.

Venkat stated, "I have been trying to make Rahman sing for my film sinceChennai 600208. I have approached him for almost all my films. But every time we missed getting him as he was busy with his prior commitments. Even forBiriyani, I had planned to make him sing with the other four music directors forThirumbi Va; again, we missed him. This time we learnt that he is currently in a contract that stipulates he cannot sing for other music directors apart from his compositions. We don't know when his contract will get over. After the contract, I will make all possible efforts to get Isai Puyal on board to croon a song for my next film." Wish Venkat fulfils his desire to have Rahman croon in his next.
