Ilaiyaraaja Discharged, Resumes Work

Ace music composer Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja was hospitalised a few days ago, as he complained of abdominal pain. The good news is that he got discharged yesterday. The news was revealed by Ilayaraja's nephew actor-director Venkat Prabhu.

The actor tweeted, “For all isaignani fans and well wishers out there!! Raja pa is absolutely fine!! Just a general check up & few tests! He is back home 2da”.

The Padma Bhushan award recipient underwent normal tests at hospital and there was nothing serious. The 72-year-old composer not only returned home but is also back to work. Initially, he was taken to cardiac ward, but later the doctor diagnosed for gastric problems, hence he was shifted to gastroenterology ward.
