Venkat Prabhu praises Surya’s strive for excellence

Filmmaker Venkat Prabhu was so impressed with the working style of Surya that he could not stop praising him. He said that it’s challenging to work with a star like Surya but totally worth it because he never settle down for anything less and work towards achieving excellence. Prabhu also said that he not only pushes himself but also people around him to do much better.

Talking about 'Masss', Venkat said, "It isn't actually a horror comedy because typically in such films, the laughs are generated out of slapstick humour involving the comedians. We haven't followed such a pattern. I believe we've worked on something fresh and hope audiences will like it". He added, "We included a shot of Surya as a vampire in the film's teaser to create some curiosity because now people have started to wonder what genre the film really belongs to". 

‘Masss’ is also high on VFX, and Prabhu says that they have done justice to all the scenes with visual effects. Nayantara, Pranitha Subhash, Samuthirakani and Parthiban are playing important roles in the flick. The film is being produced by Studio Green and Eros International and releasing worldwide on May 29.
