Venkatesh’s Nethra Is A Thriller

Making commercial hits in Badri, Aei and Sandamarutham, director A. Venkatesh is now planning to change his lane. His next will be a thriller, based on female centric. It has been titled Nethra with Vinay, Subiksha and Thaman playing the lead roles.

"So far, all my films have had either the name of the hero or a mass phrase as the title, but this time, I have chosen the heroine's name as the title. That is because the plot revolves around the heroine, a traditional girl who goes from Karaikudi to Canada after getting married", said Venkatesh.

Vinay would be seen playing the character of one of the richest men in Canada. Majority of the shoot for the film is done in Canada, while the team is wrapping up shoot in India. Talking about the plot, it will explore how a man having money and fame, ends up struggling to make ends meet.
