    Veteran Comedian Goundamani Expressed Grief On Sridevi’s Demise

    After the untimely demise of actress Sridevi , many people have been sending condolences to the bereaved family and the film fraternity has been mourning her death. Many directors and filmmakers have shared their thoughts about the actress. Now, news has it that veteran actor-comedian Goundamani has made a statement conveying his condolences.



    The comedian said, “I have acted with Sridevi in many films. In the film 'Arumbugal', she was the heroine and I was the villain. I express my deepest condolences for her unfortunate demise”. Goundamani and Sridevi had acted together in several films. Notably, they have worked together in films like ‘16 Vayathinile’, ‘Sigappu Rojakkal’ and ‘Adutha Varisu’.



    As per reports, Sridevi’s mortal remains is anticipated to be brought back to India on Monday afternoon. It has also been heard that top celebrities like superstar Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, Nagarjuna, Prakash Raj and Rajinikanth are likely to be a part of the funeral. The actress passed away late Saturday night due to accidental drowning in a hotel room in Dubai and was only 54-year-old.
