Vidya Balan eager to join Kollywood

Chennai, March 30 -- B-Town actress Vidya Balan was recently in Chennai to take part in a summit. In a candid interview to TOI, the glamorous diva expressed her wish to sign Tamil and Malayalam movies. However, the actress is just “waiting for the right script".

"I am waiting for the right script. It has always been a dream for me to do a Tamil or Malayalam film because both the languages are my mother tongue. I also make it a point not to do too many films and since 2008, I have been doing only one film a year. I like to enjoy life outside the set as well. That experience is very valuable during the shoot", the sizzling actress confirms.

Recalling her visit to Kollywood megastar Kamal Haasan, Vidya Balan says, "I have come to Chennai after very long time. You all are not inviting me often, may be that's the reason (chuckles). While I was coming to the hotel today, my head was filled with memories of visiting Chennai as a child. I remember that I was once taken to Kamal sir's house back then. I have been a big fan of him ever since. Unfortunately, he was not there, but I was given a picture signed by him and I was so thrilled".
