Vidya Balan Rejects Dhanush Starrer Film

The rumour mills were churning that Vidya Balan might star opposite Dhanush in an upcoming yet-to-be titled Tamil flick. The latest buzz is that the actress has rejected the offer and the makers of the film are looking for replacement. This film will be helmed by R.S. Durai Senthil Kumar.

 Senthil Kumar has confirmed that the Dirty Picture actress was approached for the role. The director said in a statement, “The team had approached her but since she couldn't allocate dates immediately, the idea was dropped. We are on the lookout for a suitable actress”.

The film will be produced by Dhanush. Rajnikanth’s son-in-law will be seen playing double roles in the flick. This will be the first time that the National Awards winning actor will be portraying dual roles on the big screen. The film is scheduled to go on floors next year.
