Vignesh Sivan rubbishes wedding rumours with Nayanthara

Nayanthara, at variant times, is linked to actors and directors of her films. This time, she is not only linked but also rumoured to be married to Vignesh Shivan. While the rumours of her wedding with the director of her upcoming film Naanum Rowdydhaan are spreading like wildfire, Shivan has denied to them in a text message to Times of India. “Marriage rumours are insane and not true. Such false rumours sabotage the work flow and disturbs personally too”, said Vignesh Shivan.

 On the other hand, a source close to the actress told TOI that it’s a marketing strategy to promote the film. “Whenever Nayanthara is linked with either the actor or the director, the film has been taken to a bigger scale on the marketing front. The film gets a bigger publicity and that's why some people spread such rumours”, the source said.

“Even though this rumour is creating a lot of buzz, both Nayan and Vignesh did not come forward to either deny or confirm it immediately because they, too, understand that the film is getting a promotion this way. The rumour will rest only when Nayanthara moves on to her next film”, the source added. Shivan is currently shooting the final schedule of the movie in Pondicherry and Nayanthara is expected to join the shoot in a few days.
