‘Vijay 59’ To Be Titled ‘Thaaru Maaru’?

The shooting of Vijay’s upcoming film, tentatively titled as ‘Vijay 59’, is nearing completion. Amy Jackson joined the sets of the film this month and earlier Samantha completer her portion in the film. Speculations are rife that the film will finally have a title now.

Reports suggested that the makers would choose the film’s title from ‘Khakhi’, ‘Moondru Mugam’, and ‘Vetri’. Sources claimed that the makers preferred ‘Khakhi’, as it suited the film. But now, a new title has come forward. According to reports, the action crime film will be titled ‘Thaaru Maaru’. However, no official announcement has been made till now.

Reports suggest that the same title had been considered earlier for a Jiiva film but it was dropped. Rumour mills are churning that Sathyaraj will be playing the role of the villain in the Atlee directorial. The film has been bankrolled by Kalaipuli S. Thanu under V. Creations banner.
