Vijay To Act In Remake Of Rajinikanth’s ‘Mannan’

Vijay is currently shooting for his upcoming film ‘Theri’ with director Atlee. The film is be wrapped up by Pongal, 2016 and the makers are planning to release the film in April, 2016. After wrapping up the film Vijay will shoot for his next film with director Bharathan. The project has not even started and people have started talking about his 61^st film.

According to reports, the Puli actor will be joining hands with director K.S. Ravikumar for his 61^st film. The flick will be the remake of superstar Rajinikanth’s blockbuster ‘Mannan’. The film will be bankrolled by Prabhu, who produced the original version.

If the reports turn out to be true, then this will be the first time that Vijay will act in the remake of a Rajinikanth starrer. Reportedly, the venture will go on floors in April, 2016, when the Thalaivaa actor is free from his current commitments. The news has created excitement amongst Vijay fans, however an official confirmation is awaited.
