Vijay Chander Enjoyed Working With Vikram, Calls Him Grounded

Vijay Chander is currently busy with his second project titled Sketch, which stars Tamannaah and Vikram in the lead. The movie which is set in north Chennai will see Vikarm essaying the role of a boy from north Chennai, while Tamannaah will be playing a college girl belonging to a middle class family.  Vijay who directed the movie has described it as a ‘beautiful romantic story’.

When asked why he chose the quirky title for the move, the director said, “It is a slang used in north Madras which goes well with the script. I can’t divulge anymore information.” He further said that he is not apprehensive about an English title for his film due to which he may not be exempted to pay tax. He also asserted that from June onwards the tax exemption for Kollywood films with Tamil title may be scrapped.

About working with Vikram, Chander said, He is a director’s hero. Despite his stature, he is so grounded. Being highly versatile, he brought the exact output that I had conceived in mind. It was Vikram sir who motivated me to pen the lyrics for Kanave Kanave song, which he rendered later. It’s a huge hit! It’s a pleasure working with Vikram sir.”
