Vijay faces legal trouble again with Jilla

Tamil actor Vijay’s journey in the film industry has been enmeshed with roadblocks and there seems to be no change in his destiny yet as his next release Jilla has landed in legal tussle this time. A petition has been filed against the film which has cited a producer claiming that the title Jilla has been previously registered with the Film and Television Producers Guild of South India in 2008. Hence he has sought stay on the release of the film which is scheduled to open tomorrow, January 10.

Soumita Sri Arts’ R. Mahendran claimed that his company dubbed the Telugu flick Bageeratha into Tamil and it was titled as Jilla. Vijay’s fans are annoyed with the latest setback and they have been questioning the petitioner on the social networking platforms why he kept mum on the issue till the last moment. Now let’s wait for further development regarding the lawsuit which poses a serious threat to Vijay’s Jilla. To remember the past, his Thalaivaa faced a delay in its release due to the problems it faced just before its opening day.
