Vijay pairs up with R.T. Nesan for Jilla

Having finished with the shooting of upcoming political thriller Thalaivaa, Vijay has now moved on to his next venture. Well, the actor is in news for teaming up with director R.T. Nesan, who is debuting with his upcoming directorial Jilla. The38-year-old attended the photo shoots ofJilla, where Kajal Aggarwal and Mohanlal were also present.

A source from the film unit revealed about the cast, "Vijay sir, Mohanlal sir and Kajal joined the photo shoot session today (Sunday). The regular shooting of the film is likely to start by May end". Vijay is playing the male lead, while Kajal plays Vijay's love interest in the film. Actor Mohanlal will be portraying Vijay's mentor in the flick.

The director opened up about the shooting venues, saying, "We will predominantly shoot in places such as Madurai, Chennai, and also in Andhra Pradesh. Songs will be shot abroad. If everything goes well, then we will most likely release the film during Pongal next year." Poornima Bhagyaraj, Mahat Raghavendra and Parota Suri are also a part of the film’s cast. The film produced by R. B. Choudary will feature music composed by D. Imman.
