Vijay Sethupathi And Jiiva To Star In Dhanush’s 'Vada Chennai'?

Dhanush’s recent release ‘Thanga Magan’ is doing a decent business at the box office. He will start shooting for his next with Durai Senthilkumar soon. He will also start shooting of Vetrimaran’s 'Vada Chennai' in February.

The film has garnered a lot of attention in the recent past. The Anegan actor has committed almost nine months for the flick which will be a two-part gangster saga. New stars have been added to the film by the director. According to reports, Vetrimaran has roped in Vijay Sethupathi and Jiiva for the film.

Reportedly, Rana Daggubati, who was approached to play the lead antagonist in the film, will not be on board for the project as he has allotted the dates to other films. Samantha will be playing the female lead in the film and will be seen in a deglamourised avatar. She will be playing the role of a slum girl for the first time in her career.
