Vijay Sethupathi Brings Cheran Back On Board

Vijay Sethupathi Brings Cheran Back On Board

Well, it’s no surprise that everyone wants a piece of Vijay Sethupathi. However, it’s also clear that the star is choosy about his movies and likes to go ahead with the flick, which connects to him. Now, the star made a very generous effort to bring back National award-winner director Cheran back in the thick of things.

Cheran can be remembered as the director of hit movies, namely, Autograph, Thavamai Thavamirundhu and Pandavar Bhoomi. However, the director is off work, especially after his JK Enum Nanbanin Vazhkai did not work out when he tried to introduce the direct-to-home scheme, C2H, to release the film. Reportedly, when ace filmmaker Ameer met Vijay, the latter referred him to work with Cheran.

Vijay emphasized to Ameer that sensible filmmakers, such as Cheran should not be on lay off, which would subsequently, hurt the image of Tamil industry. Now, the latest we hear is that a leading actor approached Cheran and read his script, promptly giving boost to the venture.
