Vijay Sethupathi Vows To Donate Eyes

It goes without saying that people in film industry work to gain recognition but a lot of them also indulge in work that is for a cause and not merely for applause. In the past, celebrities such as Kamal Haasan, Suriya and Trisha had pledged to donate their body organs. Recently, actor Vijay Sethupathi also took an oath to donate his eyes.

“I pledge to donate my eyes. It's a noble thing to do.. to give others a chance to see this world”, Vijay told reporters at the inauguration ceremony of a private eye hospital. The Dharma Duraiurged actor educated people in the event about the importance of organ donation. He also urged his fans to rise up to the occasion and do the same.

On the professional front, Vijay will next be seen in ‘Vikram Vedha’. The neo noir action crime thriller has been written and directed by Pushkar and Gayathri. The film also stars R. Madhavan in the lead role, and Shraddha Srinath, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Kathir and John Vijay in other significant roles.
