Vijay To Meet With Villagers At Attapadi

In a recent post from a newly appointed assistant collector of Palakkad district, described the condition of Attapadi, a tribal hamlet, it went quite popular. The post shared the poor sight of villagers where light and toilet has not reached yet.

It read, “The roads were non-existent, the street lights had gone into hiding, toilets were a no-no (When asked "where is your toilet?", a guy pointed out the entire hill around him and said "it's all our toilet") and there was general apathy towards government. We watch Vijay movies and songs in Tamil channels all the time". Crores and crores of social welfare funds had not reached that untouched remote hamlet. Only Vijay had reached".

It is been said that the actor has agreed to come and address people of Attapadi and enlighten them on the importance of getting their children educated. However, there is no official confirmation has been made from the Vijay’s side.
